City of Detroit Flag Collection

Celebrate Detroit's legacy with our City of Detroit Flag Collection by Ink Detroit. Inspired by David Emil Heineman who designed Detroit’s flag in 1907.  This collection features premium apparel and accessories including t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, and stickers all designed in a a variety of colors to represent the spirit and resilience of the Motor City. The flag is divided into four sections, it represents France, Great Britain, and the United States nations that controlled the city. At the center, the 1827 city seal depicts the 1805 fire and Detroit’s rebirth, with the mottos “Speramus Meliora” and “Resurget Cineribus.” Each piece highlights elements of the historic Detroit City Flag, known for it's bold colors and symbolic crest representing the city's past, present, and future.
